Terms and Conditions
Effective from 25 September 2026. Published by Renu Tyagi, trading as Crazy Over Crochet, Vaishali, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 201019, India.
These Terms govern your use of this Website and every purchase or custom order made through it. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the Shipping Policy, which form part of these Terms.
1. About these Terms
1.1These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website crazyovercrochet.com (the “Website”) and every purchase you make through it or arrange through it. The Website is operated by Renu Tyagi, an individual seller (sole proprietor) based at Vaishali, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 201019, India, trading as Crazy Over Crochet (the “Seller”, “we”, “us”). The wordmark माँ, ye aapke liye is used by the Seller for the same business.
1.2By using the Website, placing an order or submitting a custom-order request, you (“you”, the “Buyer”) agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the Shipping Policy, each of which forms part of these Terms.
1.3If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.
1.4Where a facility described in these Terms, such as online checkout, is not yet available on the Website, the related provisions apply from the day the facility becomes available. Purchases arranged directly with the Seller in the meantime are governed by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an order or submit a custom-order request.
2.2Pieces are delivered only to addresses within India.
2.3By placing an order you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorised to use the payment method you select.
3. The Pieces
3.1Each item listed in the collection (a “Piece”) is handmade by the Seller and made only once. When a Piece is sold it is withdrawn from sale and is not available again.
3.2Handmade work varies. Small differences in stitch, shape, colour and finish are characteristics of a Piece and are not defects.
3.3Product visuals on the Website are AI-generated representations designed to depict the physical Piece closely. Colour, texture and scale may differ from the visual, and screen settings affect how colours appear. The dimensions, materials and other specifications stated on the product page are the description of the Piece and prevail over any visual.
3.4Pieces made to your request (“Custom Orders”) are governed by section 6.
4. Prices and payment
4.1Prices are stated in Indian Rupees. The price shown on the product page when your order is confirmed is the price you pay. Prices include delivery within India, and no amount is added at checkout.
4.2The Seller is not registered under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. No GST is charged, and no tax invoice under that Act is issued.
4.3Prices and availability may change at any time before an order is confirmed. Where an order has been placed at a price that is an obvious error, the Seller may cancel the order and refund any amount paid in full.
4.4Payment is made through Razorpay, a payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India, using the payment methods it offers. The Seller does not receive or store your card, bank or UPI credentials. Razorpay’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction.
4.5When you begin checkout, the selected Pieces are held for you for a short period (approximately ten minutes) so that payment can be completed. If payment is not completed within that period the hold ends and the Pieces return to sale. If a payment is captured after the hold has ended and the Piece is no longer available, the payment is refunded in full under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
4.6The amount charged is always computed by the Seller’s systems from the current listed price. A price displayed in the cart stored on your device is not an offer and may have changed.
5. Orders
5.1Your order is an offer to buy. A contract for the sale of a Piece is formed when the Seller confirms the order by email after the payment has been captured.
5.2Checkout collects your name, email address, WhatsApp number, delivery address and PIN code. Order confirmation, dispatch notice and tracking details are sent to the email address you provide.
5.3The Seller may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where a Piece cannot be dispatched, a listing or pricing error has occurred, the order appears to be fraudulent, or delivery to the address given is not possible. Any amount paid is refunded in full within 7 working days.
5.4Once payment has been confirmed, an order cannot be cancelled by the Buyer, and no return, exchange or refund is available except as set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Custom Orders
6.1A request submitted through the custom-order form is an enquiry only. It does not reserve a Piece, book the Seller’s time or create an order.
6.2The Seller may decline any request at her sole discretion and without giving reasons.
6.3If the Seller agrees to make a Custom Order, she will confirm the description, price and indicative timeline by email or WhatsApp and send a payment link. The full price is payable in advance, and work begins only after payment has been received.
6.4Once work has begun, the payment for a Custom Order is non-refundable. If the Seller is unable to complete a Custom Order, any amount paid for work that has not begun is refunded in full.
6.5Timelines for Custom Orders are indicative. Reference images you provide must be your own or otherwise lawful for you to share, and you permit the Seller to use them to make and discuss your Custom Order.
6.6The Seller retains all rights in the design of a Custom Order. Custom Orders are delivered under the Shipping Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Delivery
7.1Delivery is governed by the Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Risk in a Piece passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.
8. Intellectual property
8.1All content on the Website, including the designs of the Pieces, photographs and visuals, text, the Crazy Over Crochet name and the माँ, ye aapke liye wordmark, is owned by or licensed to the Seller and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.
8.2You may view the Website and share links to it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute or create derivative works from any content, or use it to train automated systems, without the Seller’s prior written permission.
8.3Purchasing a Piece transfers ownership of that physical Piece only. It does not transfer any intellectual property rights.
9. Use of the Website
9.1You agree not to:
- use the Website for any unlawful purpose or submit false or misleading information;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Website, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, including the studio area;
- use automated means to submit forms, place orders or extract content;
- upload material through the custom-order form that is unlawful, infringing or harmful.
9.2The custom-order form is subject to daily limits and anti-abuse measures. The Seller may refuse or delete submissions that breach this section.
10. Availability and accuracy
10.1The Seller aims to keep the Website accurate and available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that its content is free of errors. Content may be updated, corrected or removed at any time without notice.
11. Liability
11.1Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law, including your statutory rights in relation to goods that are defective or not as described.
11.2Subject to clause 11.1, the Seller’s total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount paid for that order, and the Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delay or failure caused by events outside her reasonable control, including courier disruption, strikes, weather and government action.
12. Privacy
12.1Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Complaints and grievance redressal
13.1Please raise any concern first through the channels listed on the Contact page. Most matters are resolved there.
13.2In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Seller has designated a Grievance Officer: Vaibhav Tyagi, reachable by email at crazyovercrochet@gmail.com and on WhatsApp at +91 81780 26772. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt and resolved within one month of receipt.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
14.1These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your right to approach the consumer commissions established under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Website.
15. General
15.1The Seller may amend these Terms by publishing the amended Terms on the Website with a new effective date. An order is governed by the Terms in force when it was placed.
15.2If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
15.3These Terms, the policies referred to in clause 1.2 and your order confirmation are the entire agreement between you and the Seller for each order.
